Defending champions Kelantan have been drawn in a tough group for next year's President's Cup tournament.
They will have to contend with tough sides like the Bukit Jalil Sports School, Kedah and Club side T-Team in Group A which is made up of 13 teams.
At the draw witnessed by FA of Malaysia secretary-general Datuk Azzuddin Ahmad at Wisma Fam today, last year's runners-up MP Muar were drawn in Group B for the knockout format tournament together with among others Negeri Sembilan, Selangor and Perak. Group B has 15 teams.
The draw for the FAM league saw the entry of three new teams in the nine-team league namely Sinar Dimaja Maisarah (SDM) Pulau Pinang and Pulau Pinang which were relegated from this year's Premier League and Perbadanan Bekalan Air Pulau Pinang (PBAPP).
The FAM league is played in the round robin format with the winner gaining promotion to the Premier League in 2013.
The President's Cup kicks off on Jan 26 while the FAM League on Jan 29.
