Sabah coach thinks Sarawak well prepared for new season

Sarawak is an improving team and has what it takes to take on the challenges and demands of the Malaysia Super League (MSL).

According to Sabah’s head coach Justin Ganai after his team played in the two friendlies with Sarawak on Tuesday and Thursday, he saw strength in the ‘new’ state’s team.

“Sarawak looks more ready and prepared as a team compared to Sabah” he said commenting on Sarawak’s game play.

Justin was also feeling the pressure and a bit disappointed as his team failed to find the net from the two pre-season tour matches with Sarawak.

He said that Sabah had to be totally prepared if they want to be tough contenders in the MSL next season.

When asked about the feeling playing against a local and direct rival like Sarawak, he said that he did feel a bit of anxiety but other than that, any match would be as important and the same as any other matches.

Justin was also a former Sabah player who last played for the team in 1988.
