Christmas cheers turned into jeers when Zambian striker Zacharia Simukonda and Bosnian defender Bojan Petric snubbed a dinner party hosted by Permai Hotel in their honour on Saturday.
The T-Team foreign signings appeared at the hotel just after 8pm and left abruptly at 8.20pm, 10 minutes before the party began.
T-Team representative Ziani Abu Bakar, who accompanied the footballers, could not stop them from leaving as they cited tiredness as their reason for leaving early.
"They came in their own cars and I could not do much when they said they were tired and walked out.
"I tried to talk them into staying a while longer as they were the guests of honour but they were adamant about leaving," he said.
Hotel general manager Azman Ali said staff who are mostly T-Team fans were disappointed when they could not meet the two players.
"We realised the players were celebrating Christmas all alone in a foreign land and we thought holding a dinner party for them was a decent thing to do."
Public relations manager Ruhana Abdullah said the players had given a bad first impression.
"I hope they can really play football because T-Team could not have hired them because of their good manners.
"Leaving without saying goodbye is low in my book and apart from coaching them football, I hope Yunus Alif will coach them some manners too," she said.
