Sarawak-Singapore match marred by unhappy fans

The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) will wait for the match commissioner's report before making any comments on the match between Sarawak and the Lions XII (Singapore) at the State Stadium in Kuching last night.

The Super League match between Sarawak and the Lions which saw the Singapore outfit win 1-0, was said to have been marred by fans who threw objects and fireworks onto the field as a mark of protest against the match referee who was said to be bias.

FAM secretary-general Datuk Azzuddin Ahmad said the FAM would not be able to take any action before receiving the match commissioner's report.
