Chelsea arrives in Malaysia

The Red sides are gone and the Blues are now in town. After the departure of Arsenal and Liverpool, English Premier League outfit Chelsea arrived in Malaysia yesteday.

The Stamford Bridge side checked into the One World Hotel here as hundreds of adoring fans waited to get a glimpse of their idols.

And they were not disappointed as strikers Fernando Torres and Didier Drogba, midfielder Frank Lampard and Mr Chelsea himself – John Terry – and the rest of the squad trooped into the hotel, with some obliging the fans by signing autographs.

Arsenal had beaten Malaysia 4-0 on last Wednesday while Liverpool beat our boys 6-3 in another friendly match on Saturday.

Chelsea will take on a Malaysian Selection on Thursday at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil at 8.45pm.
