Malaysian fans to get Chelsea treat

If one thought the matches against Arsenal and Liverpool were electrifying, then Malaysian fans should look forward to the time of their lives when the Malaysia XI take on Chelsea at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil on Thursday.
ProEvents (organiser of the three matches involving the English Premier League powerhouses) chief executive officer Julian Kam is confident that with Chelsea sending their best squad to Malaysia, with the likes of Didier Drogba and Fernando Torres, both of whom will be playing in Malaysia for the first time, the Blues' Malaysian fans would get their money's worth.

"It's fantastic news and we all appreciate Chelsea's effort to bring their best possible squad to Malaysia," said Kam.

"Not only Chelsea fans would be interested in watching the match, as it involves players who have set not only the EPL alight, but also other major competitions such as the Champions League and the World Cup."

"No matter which team you support, all football fans should come and support Chelsea as well as the Malaysia XI.

"I'm confident the stadium is going to be pretty packed and it's going to be a real party atmosphere on Thursday," added Kam, who urged fans to hurry and get their tickets while they were still available.
