Penang to lodge MACC report on management of state team

The FA of Penang will be lodging a report with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission against the team's management following the dismal showing of the team in the Premier League this season.

Its president Datuk Seri Zahrain Mohamed Hashim said the decision to lodge the report was taken at a meeting of the association's committee recently.

"We suspect there is some "fishy business going on. Penang being relegated from the Premier League is unacceptable," he told reporters here Monday.

Penang finished last in the Premier League after only managing one win and a draw while losing 20 matches.
