Ticket rush for Singapore-Malaysia World Cup qualifier

WITH just over 5,000 tickets available, a huge scramble is expected next weekend when Singaporeans queue up for a chance to watch Singapore take on Malaysia in a World Cup football qualifying clash.

At stake in the July 23 match at Jalan Besar Stadium is a place in the third round of the qualifiers, and cross-strait bragging rights.

EARLY BIRD SPECIAL
There are only 5,000 tickets
Tickets are for Singaporeans & PRs only
Date: July 16, 17.
Time: 8am-5pm
Venue: Jalan Besar Stadium, South Gate
Maximum four tickets per person
NRIC required for purchase
Prices: $15 (Grandstand), $7 (Gallery) and $3 tickets for concessionary gallery seating (Primary, Secondary, ITE, JC Students/ Senior citizens 60 years old and above)


Note
Any remaining tickets will go on sale, to all nationalities, on July 21 and 22 at the same venue from 12pm-5pm.
These tickets will be priced at $18 (Grandstand), $10 (Gallery) and $3 for concessionary gallery seating.
Leftover tickets after this will be sold on matchday at Jalan Besar Stadium from 5pm.
