Perak to start intensified training for new season

Perak have registered 24 players, including two imports, to carry their challenge in the Super League season which kicks off on Jan 10.

The  four local new signings are Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) top scorer  Mohd Failee Ghazali and Harimau Muda A midfielder Muhammad Rafiuddin Roddin.

Mohd Failee and Muhammad Rafiuddin, who was loan with Perak, impressed in the team's Malaysia Cup campaign.

Two former Kuala Lumpur players, Muhammad Shahrom Abdul Kalam and Fahrul Razi Kamaruddin have also been roped in.

Youngster Mohd Badrul Azam Mohd Zamri, who was on loan to Felda United FC last season, is back with Perak. The two imports are Serbian striker, Lazar Popovic and former junior midfielder from Slovakia, Michal Kubala.

The 17 players who represented Perak in the 2011 season have been retained.

Perak coach Norizan Bakar said: "As the squad had been finalised, the focus is now on intensified training."

Norizan will be assisted by Chong Yee Fatt and Abdul Talib Saidi.
