Enjoyable football treat by English clubs

TWO weeks of absorbing football came to a successful end yesterday with Chelsea following Arsenal and Liverpool in putting on a show for Malaysian fans of the English Premier League.
ProEvents International chief executive Julian Kam said the enthusiasm displayed by fans for all three matches will be difficult to match.

"It was a great two weeks of football and a lot people showed their support not just for the English clubs but for the Malaysian teams as well.

"As you saw tonight (yesterday) half the stadium wore the national jersey. In terms of organisation, it was excellently handled. There were rumours about fake tickets being distributed but this proved to be unfounded.

"Everthing was brilliant and it proved once again of Malaysia's organisational ability as the best in the region,' said Kam.
