The allocation of just 500 tickets for Malaysian fans to witness the 2014 World Cup Asian Zone Qualifier between Malaysia and Singapore at the Jalan Besar Stadium in Singapore on Saturday is good enough, said Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek.
He said as the stadium could only sit 6,000 spectators, naturally the FA of Singapore would give priority to its own fans.
"Malaysian fans can pack the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil which has a capacity for 100,000 spectators when the return leg is played on July 29," he told reporters here Monday.
He said this in commenting on the appeal by the FA Malaysia for 1,000 more tickets for local fans to view Saturday's match.
