Selangor will start their preparation for the competition with a friendly match against the national team at the Shah Alam Stadium today.
Selangor coach K. Devan said the match would give him the opportunity to test new players and also strategies.
"I want to gauge my players' performance as I will be trying out my players in different positions. It is going to be a challenging match."
Selangor have met the national team several times before with the former notching a famous 1-0 victory in the late 1980s.
