Negri Sembilan get reward for winning Malaysia Cup

Malaysia Cup champions Negri Sembilan received a total of RM500,000 in incentive from the Negri Sembilan Football Association (NSFA).

Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan, who is the NSFA president, said the incentive was given as a recognition for their achievement and to spur excellence in the sport.

“We gave the team RM200,000 after reaching the semi-finals. Today, we gave them another RM300,000. This is an incentive for them to perform well in every game,” he said at a reception for the team.

Negeri won the Cup after beating Terengganu 2-1 at the Shah Alam Stadium in Selangor on Oct 29.

He also said that the Deer would go to Perth after their friendly with Kelantan on Nov 29.

“We will have several friendly matches with clubs in the Australian League,” said Mohamad.
