Negeri Sembilan signed another import player before the registration dateline to strengthen the team's challenge for the Super League title this season.
Assistant team manager Hamzah Mohd Nor said the player, Marian Farbak, 29, a defender from Slovakia would join the team as the second import player as Negeri Sembilan had already secured the services of a player from Cameroon earlier.
"This player has played for a Slovakian Division 1 League Club and his last club was the Tatran Presov Club. He is 1.93cm tall and is expected to be a pillar of strength in defence with his ability to cut off high balls played into the box," he told Bernama here, Tuesday.
Negeri Sembilan signed striker Jean-Emmanuel Effa Owana, 24, from Cameron before the start of the Super League.
He said Farbak was expected to play in the NS-PKNS match, here, tonight.
Negeri Sembilan now has 11 points and sits in fifth spot after playing seven matches in the 14-team Super League competition.
