National head coach Datuk K. Rajagobal will give young players an opportunity to showcase their talent in order to play for the national team that will play in the AFF Suzuki Cup.
Rajagobal said he had enough time on his side after the Malaysia Cup to test the players before the tournament kicks off at two venues, namely Malaysia and Thailand from Nov 24 to Dec 22.
"We will play a number of friendly matches before analysing their performance. They must not presume that we are not giving them a positive chance," he told reporters when met at Wisma FAM here.
Malaysia are the defending champion of the AFF Suzuki Cup having won the tournament in 2010 by beating Indonesia 4-2 on aggregate.
The coach said his main target was to prepare a formidable team for the 2015 Asia Cup in Sydney, Australia.
