Defending champion Terengganu moved into the quarterfinals of the FA Cup after beating high riding Perak 1-0 at the Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah Stadium in a pulsating match while Selangor were shown the exit by Johor FC at the Pasir Gudang Stadium in Johor.
Selangor and Johor FC which is coached by former Selangor coach K. Devan were tied 2-2 in regulation and extra time, forcing the outcome to be decided by a penalty shootout which was eventually won by Johor FC 5-4.
Terengganu joins another side from the state, T-Team who beat Pahang 3-2 yesterday to become the first team to make the quarterfinals.
In Alor Setar, Kedah put their poor Super League form aside to book their quarterfinal berth after a 3-2 victory over Perlis in an exciting match at the Darul Aman Stadium.
