Sabah determined to overturn first leg deficit against T-Team

Sabah are ready to turn the tables on T-Team and gain a place in the Malaysia Cup semi-finals.

Sabah, who lost 2-1 to T-Team in the first-leg of the quarter-finals at the Likas Stadium on Friday, will travel to the Sultan Ismail Stadium here for the return leg tomorrow.

T-Team are the firm favourites to go through but Sabah coach Justin Ganai is not ready to throw in the towel yet.

“We still have a chance of beating T-Team despite the odds being stacked against us. There is another 90 minutes to go … we will fight to the very end,” he said, adding that his men were determined to pull off an upset over T-Team, who will be playing in front of their home fans.

“The pressure will be on T-Team to perform in front of their fans.”

Justin said his players were gutted over the loss at the Likas Stadium on Monday.

“But we will use the defeat to motivate the players for the return match,” he said.

“We want to avenge the loss as it really hurt our pride. We let the home fans down on Friday … it will be T-Team’s turn to disappoint their fans.”
