Youth and Sports Minister urged the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) to tackle indiscipline among fans when watching football matches at stadiums.
He added that incidents like throwing water bottles and fire crackers into the pitch has become a common occurrence although many initiatives have been taken to curb such activities, including taking legal action.
"If such behaviour is not checked, it will become an unhealthy culture that will tarnish the image of the country's football. FAM must take firm action against such offenders," he said.
