Sarawak shot to the top of the Super League for a while after beating PKNS 2-0 as a late Hafiz Kamal goal gave Malaysia Cup champions Pahang a 3-2 win over Darul Ta'zim in Kuantan yesterday.
Promoted side Sarawak joined six teams on six points to lead only on goals scored after fans flooded the Selayang Stadium and saw their team go 2-0 up inside 16 minutes thanks to two long throw-ins by Ronny Harun.
Milorad Janjus headed in the first in the ninth minute past an unsighted PKNS goalkeeper Zamir Selamat before Gabor Gyepes repeated the trick seven minutes later.
Joseph Kalang Tie thought he made it 3-0 when he had the ball in the net in the 49th minute but it was correctly ruled out when he handled it in the process.
Janjus then missed a sitter, blazing over the bar when Zamir could only parry Ashru Chuchu's shot before the goalkeeper denied the Serbian from point-blank range.
At the other end, Fadzley Rahim's fingertips steered PKNS hot-shot Patrick Wleh's drive wide before Gyepes' goalline clearance denied the Liberian.
Fadzley tipped Khairu Azrin Razali's looping header against the bar in the 82nd minute to deny PKNS a consolation.
Fans were segregated by barbed wire at the Darulmakmur Stadium as star-studded Darul Ta'zim's winless run in the league extended to three matches.
Hafiz struck deep into stoppage-time when he connected to Azidan Sarudin's free-kick to send the home fans wild.
Argentinian Matias Conti gave Pahang the lead in the 13th minute when he capitalised on a mix up in the visitors' defence to slot the ball past on-rushing goalkeeper Norazlan Razali.
Pahang almost made it 2-0 seven minutes later when Fauzi Roslan's header rattled the Darul Ta'zim crossbar, a miss which proved costly as Pablo Aimar turned in Amri Yahyah's pass for the equaliser on the stroke of half-time.
However, Fauzi Roslan restored the lead for Pahang two minutes into the second half before substitute Safee Sali drew the visitors level with his first goal of the season in the 73rd minute.

PKNS striker targets more goals
PKNS FC will not be short of goals in the Super League this season.
This is the assurance given by Liberian hotshot Patrick Ronaldinho Wleh, who has promised to complement his new striking partner from Croatia – Karlo Primorac, the 2013 Premier League Golden Boot winner with 28 goals.
“We will get the goals ... rain or shine,” warned Wleh, the club’s top scorer with 22 goals last season.
PKNS have strengthened the squad with a few new signings, including attacking midfielder Kim Dong-chan of South Korea and centreback Hamka Hamzah of Indonesia.
Wleh, who has signed a new two-year deal with PKNS until 2016, has vowed to score 27 goals this season.
“I have pledged not to miss a game this season. I want PKNS to finish in the top six in the Super League and win a Cup final ticket. The Super League is going to be really competitive, but we will be no pushovers and be among the title contenders,” he said.
“Karlo is a huge asset to the team. He is a good finisher and I like his style of play. He made an outstanding contribution with his former team, Sime Darby FC. I’m sure the two of us will make a big difference to the team.”
PKNS coach Wan Jamak Wan Hassan has a balanced line-up and a good set of players, which include Mohd Nazmi Faiz and Mohd Fauzan Dzulkifli in the engine room and the likes of skipper Helmi Remeli, Es Lizuan Zahid Amir and P. Gunalan in defence.
Wleh wants his team to get off the mark in style when they open their campaign against Terengganu at the Sultan Ismail stadium in Kuala Terengganu on Saturday.
PKNS finished eighth in their Super League debut last season. In the FA Cup, they did well to edge Lions XII in the first round before crashing out to champions Kelantan (4-2) in the second round. They failed to get past the group stages in the Malaysia Cup.

Kelantan win to stay top while Singapore move into second in Super League
Kelantan scored their biggest win of the season when they thrashed lowly Felda United 5-1 in a Super League match at the Sultan Mohd IV Stadium in Kota Baru last night.
The Red Warriors showed no mercy to the struggling club side after Nigerian import Nwoha Onyekachi led the goal rush with a brace in the third and 45th minutes.
Mohd Norfarhan Mohd (65th), Indra Putra Mahayuddin (69th) and skipper Mohd Badhri Radzi (80th) were also on target.
Felda’s goal came via Azrul Ahmad’s equaliser in the fourth minute.
The big win saw the east coast side consolidating their position at the top of the league with 26 points from 11 matches.
Lions XII moved up to second spot after they edged T-Team 2-1 at the Jalan Besar Stadium. Midfielder Shahdan Sulaiman converted a penalty in the 85th minute to claim full points for the Singaporeans.
Lions skipper Shahril Ishak fired the hosts ahead in the 51st minute before his T-Team counterpart Zairo Anuar Zailani drew level just two minutes later.
Terengganu dropped to third place on 21 points after being held to goalless draw by Johor FC at the Sultan Ismail Stadium in Kuala Terengganu.
At the Likas Stadium, Selangor were forced to labour to a 1-1 draw with Sabah.
The Rhinos’ Australian import Michael Baird stunned the Red Giants with an early strike after only three minutes before leftback P. Gunalan equalised in the 60th minute.
Midfielder Baird took advantage of a miscommunication between Selangor goalkeeper G. Jeevananthan and rightback Mohd Razman Roslan to draw first blood.
Selangor came back stronger in the second half to dominate the match and Gunalan blasted in a half volley for a well-deserved equaliser.
In Kelana Jaya, Sarawak stunned PKNS FC 4-1 at the MBPJ Stadium. The East Malaysians scored through Shahrol Saperi (12), Ashri Chuchu (45, 81) and Vedran Muratovic (65) while Khairul Azrin (58th) replied for PKNS FC.

PKNS wants to win more matches in Super League
Super League newcomers PKNS FC are a dismal 10th in the 14-team standings despite having lost only one match in their campaign.
The former Premier League champions may have won only one of their nine matches to date, but seven of the other eight have ended in draws.
Little wonder that other teams dread playing them as PKNS are draw specialists, who are ever so good at stonewalling their rivals.
Head coach Abdul Rahman Ibrahim said the club should be proud of their achievements in denying the top teams victory.
“It isn’t a bad result for a newly-promoted club side as so many teams find it impossible to beat us. The fact remains that we have lost only once in nine matches,” said Abdul Rahman.
PKNS lost their opening game to Johor FC 2-1 on Jan 10 and have been unbeaten ever since.
Their only win was 2-0 against Selangor on Feb 11. The drawn matches were against Kelantan (1-1), Kedah (0-0), K. Lumpur (1-1), Sabah (2-2), Terengganu (1-1), N. Sembilan (1-1) and Perak (2-2).
PKNS are scheduled to play struggling Felda United at the MBPJ Stadium in Kelana Jaya tomorrow.
“I’m sure we will start winning in the coming matches,” said Abdul Rahman, who is looking to his strikeforce of Zambian Phillimon Chepita and local hotshot Rudie Ramli to show the way.
The 31-year-old Chepita replaced injured French striker Dawood Nicoise on a short-term deal.
PKNS released Nicoise following an injury to his knee. But the Frenchman is recuperating in Kuala Lumpur and may be signed on again when the transfer window opens next month.

Liberian striker Francis Doe continues scoring as Terengganu win in Super League
Francis Doe again showed why he is rated so highly by Terengganu as he struck the only goal in a 1-0 win over bottom side Kuala Lumpur yesterday to move his team level with Kelantan at the top of the Super League standings.
The Liberian ran on to a goalkick by Sharbinee Allawee Ramli and squeezed between KL's two centrebacks before firing past goalkeeper Rozaimie Rohim in the 61st minute for his sixth goal of the season at a deserted Hang Jebat Stadium in Malacca.
After nine games played, Terengganu have 17 points, the same as Kelantan, who can go three points clear today when they play Negri Sembilan in Kota Baru in Bojan Hodak's first match in charge since Peter Butler's departure.
Michal Kubala also bagged his sixth goal of the season as his 80th-minute penalty earned Perak a 2-2 draw with PKNS, who had Zulhariz Mohd Noor sent off at the Petaling Jaya Stadium.
Helmi Remeli (20th) and Fauzan Dzulkifli (56th) struck for PKNS either side of Fazli Hazli Kadri's 42nd-minute equaliser for Perak while Frenchman Abdelfatah Safi's penalty three minutes from the end gave Kedah a 1-0 win over Selangor at the Darulaman Stadium after Baddrol Bakhtiar had missed from the spot earlier in the game.
Shahrudin Yakup capped Sabah's comeback from going 1-0 down to Johor FC in Kota Kinabalu with an 80th-minute winner after Rozaimi Abdul Rahman's 31st-minute goal cancelled Arthuro Bernhardt's opener three minutes earlier.

Terengganu win to keep up the pressure on leaders Kelantan in Super League
Terengganu laboured to a 1-0 win over Kuala Lumpur at the Hang Jebat Stadium last night to keep up the pressure on Super League leaders Kelantan.
Liberian hitman Francis Doe scored the solitary goal in the 61st minute to save the Turtles the blushes against the basement side.
KL, bolstered by Zakaria Charara and Emmanuel Okine – both on loan from Kelantan – looked the more dangerous side but were let down by poor finishing.
It took a determined individual effort from Doe to win a match that seemed headed for a draw.
The striker dribbled past three KL defenders before slotting the ball past goalkeeper Rozaimie Rohim.
Terengganu, with 17 points from nine matches, are now equal on points with Kelantan. The Red Warriors, who still lead the standings on goal difference, host Negri Sembilan tonight.
Perak were held to a 2-2 draw by a gutsy PKNS at the MBPJ Stadium in Kelana Jaya.
PKNS defender Mohd Helmi Remeli drew first blood in the 20th minute before Mohd Fazrul Hazli Kadri equalised for Perak in the 42nd.
Midfielder Mohd Fauzan Dzulkifli regained the lead for PKNS in the 56th minute but the Seladang were awarded a controversial penalty in the 80th.
PKNS defender Mohd Zulhariz Mohd Noor was given the marching orders for handling the ball and Slovakian midfielder Michal Kubala converted the spot kick.
In Kota Kinabalu, Sabah came from behind to edge Johor FC 2-1 at the Likas Stadium.
Sharudin Yakup grabbed the winner for the Rhinos in the 80th minute after the teams were tied 1-1 at half-time.
Johor FC striker Arthuro Bernhardt opened the scoring in the 28th minute before midfielder Rozaimi Abdul Rahman equalised in the 31st.
In Alor Setar, Kedah edged Selangor 1-0 to record only their second win of the season.
French midfielder Abdulfatah Safi converted a penalty in the 83rd minute.

Terengganu, Kelantan and Selangor progress to next round in FA Cup
Defending champions Terengganu cruised into the second round of the FA Cup with a convincing 4-0 win over Police while their neighbours Kelantan had to dig deep into their reserves to edge Sarawak 2-1 yesterday.
At the Sultan Mohd IV Stadium in Kota Baru, substitute Mohd Norfarhan Mohd – who replaced the ineffective Nigerian Onyekachi Nwoha – turned hero for the Red Warriors when he scored the winner in stoppage time.
Mohd Azizan Baba stunned the hosts by firing Sarawak ahead in the 20th minute before Indra Putra Mahayuddin equalised in the 34th minute.
Kelantan coach Peter Butler said he was happy with his side’s performance after being given such a tough fight by Sarawak.
“The team played well but I would be happier if we scored more goals,” said Butler.
“In a knock-out competition, you can’t afford to underestimate your opponent.. they have nothing to lose.”
Kelantan will meet Kuala Lumpur in the second round on March 10. The City side defeated Muar MC 3-0.
Sarawak coach Robert Alberts said his players did not play to their full potential but praised his Cameroon signing Guy Bwele.
Sarawak should have won the match in the dying minutes but their Croatian striker Vedran Muratovic ballooned a sitter which eventually cost his side a famous win.
“I’m proud of my team’s performance despite the players not playing to their true potential. Kelantan have invested the most in players and should beat us,” said Alberts.
In Kuala Terengganu, Abdul Manaf Mamat hit a brace for the Turtles in the 38th and 65th minutes while Abdul Hadi Yahya (10th) and Francis Doe (80th) nailed one each.
The night’s upset saw the fall of Negri Sembilan to club side Johor FC 1-2 at the Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium in Paroi.
Arthuro Bernhardt was the hero for Johor FC, scoring a brace in the 25th and 81st minutes while Jean-Emmanuel Owona replied for Negri in the 31st minute.

Struggling Selangor lose again as Kelantan lead standings in Super League
Defending champions Kelantan surged to the top of the Super League after they edged bitter rivals Terengganu 2-1 at the Sultan Mohd IV Stadium in Kota Baru last night.
National striker Norshahrul Idlan Talaha fired the Red Warriors ahead in the 37th minute before skipper Mohd Badhri Radzi added a second in the 52nd.
Substitute Abdul Manaf Mamat pulled one back for the Turtles in the 91st minute.
Kelantan lead the standings on 17 points as overnight leaders Perak crashed to a surprise 0-2 defeat to T-Team at the Sultan Ismail Stadium in Kuala Terengganu.
The Seladang slipped to second on 15 points.
Norizan Bakar’s charges conceded two goals in the second-half with T-Team’s Bosnian import Bojan Patrick (56th minute) and Zairo Annuar Zailani (88th, penalty) on target.
In Kelana Jaya, PKNS FC grabbed their first win of the season by beating Selangor 2-0 at the MBPJ Stadium.
Former Selangor striker Rudie Ramli drew first blood for PKNS in the 35th minute before Helmi Remeli blasted home a second goal in the 61st.
It was a double blow for the Red Giants, who were unable to field Croatian striker Bosko Balaban as he has yet to receive his International Transfer Certificate (ITC).
Even the return of Lebanese central defender, Ramez Dayoub, from a one-match suspension failed to keep Selangor steady.
A defensive lapse allowed Rudie to sneak a goal past Selangor goalkeeper Norazlan Razali before Helmi nodded home from Fauzan Dzulkifli’s cross.
Selangor came close to an equaliser in the 43rd minute when Mohd Fitri Shazwan Raduwan’s glancing header hit the crossbar.
Selangor’s insipid display continued in the second half as they failed to stamp any authority on the match. The lack of an out-and-out striker is also another cause of the team’s downfall.
Singapore’s Lions XII skipper Shahril Ishak netted a brace in their 3-1 win over Negri Sembilan at the Jalan Besar Stadium.
Shahril got his first from a spot kick in the 31st minute after Negri midfielder Shahurain Abu Samah handled the ball inside the box.
Shahdan Sulaiman fired the Lions’ second in the 50th minute before Shahril sealed the winner in the 59th minute.
Mohd Firdaus Azizul scored Negri’s consolation goal in the 90th minute.
The Singaporeans are now fourth with 11 points, ahead of Negri on goal difference.
In Kuching, Mohd Asri Chuchu struck a las-gasp winner in Sarawak’s come-from-behind 2-1 win over Felda United at the Sarawak Stadium.
The Crocodiles fell behind after Felda’s Mohd Asri found the net in the 38th minute.
Croatian striker Vedran Muratovic made it level for the homesters in the 50th minute before the 18-year-old Asri hit the winner from close range in the last minute.
Johor FC defeated Kuala Lumpur 2-0 at the Hang Jebat Stadium with Haris Safwan (7th minute) and substitute Jasazrin Jamaluddin (86th) scoring the goals.

Terengganu held by PKNS in Super League
Terengganu have themselves to blame for missing out on the chance to top the Super League standings after they could only manage a disappointing 1-1 draw against struggling PKNS FC in Kuala Terengganu on Wednesday.
The Turtles had a good chance to go top after leaders Kelantan dropped points when Sabah held them to a goalless draw in Kota Kinabalu.
The slip-ups by Terengganu and Kelantan allowed Perak to leap frogged to the summit on 15 points. Kelantan dropped a rung to second spot on 14 points while Terengganu with a point fewer are third.
Coach Mat Zan Mat Aris said the team had no one to blame but themselves.
“We employed the wrong strategy by placing certain players in the wrong position. We were in control of the match until I substituted Joseph Kalang Tie in the second half,” he said adding that the Sarawakian winger along with Mohd Ashaari Shamsuddin were the team’s midfield engine.
During the 1-1 stalemate at the Sultan Ismail Stadium, on-form striker Francis Doe broke the deadlock in the 38th minute by calmly collecting Joseph’s cross to slot the ball home. However, PKNS draw level through a Rudie Ramli’s glancing header from a cross in the 46th minute.
The Turtles were more superior but strikers Doe, Abdul Manaf Mamat and Abdul Hadi Yahya failed to convert the chances to earn the team a win over their Klang Valley opponent.
Mat Zan had hoped that a win over PKNS would bolster their confidence ahead of Saturday’s East Coast Derby against Kelantan but it was not to be.
“I will make a major reshuffle for the match against Kelantan. We have to rethink our strategy as the tie against the Red Warriors will be tricky and above all, emotional,” he said.
Meanwhile PKNS assistant coach Anuar Abu Bakar was not perturbed with his team’s growing reputation as the draw experts, having drawn five of their six matches played.
“It is a big coup to escape with a point against a strong team like Terengganu. It is a positive for the players but I really felt we could have won as the players were playing their hearts out,” he said.

Struggling Selangor held by Singapore
The much anticipated clash between Selangor and Singapore Lions XII in the Super League finished in a 1-1 stalemate at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil last night.
Everyone had expected a mouth-watering clash between two bitter rivals after an 18-year hiatus from the Malaysian football league.
It was an even contest from the beginning and Singapore skipper Shahril Ishak broke the deadlock with a close range shot in the 43rd minute. The Red Giants drew level through midfielder K. Gurusamy’s long range strike in stoppage time of the first half.
Sadly, less than 5,000 fans watched the clash between two old bitter rivals, compared to the past when the they played in stadiums packed to the brim.
Selangor surprisingly did field new signing Bosko Balaban from Crotia.
Selangor enjoyed more possession but failed to breach the Lions XII’s defence marshalled by centre back Baihakki Khaizan.
The first close call came in the opening minutes from a neat one-two pass between Safiq Rahim and Mohd Fitri Shazwan Raduwan inside the box. But Safiq’s weak attempt was easily saved by Singapore custodian Izwan Mahbud.
Baihakki came close to opening accounts with a double effort from close range but his first attempt was punched away and the second was easily collected by Selangor keeper Norazlan Razali in the 40th minute.
Against the run of play, the Lions silenced the home crowd when Shahril found the net with a clinical finish from inside the box in the 43rd minute.
A lapse in concentration from the Selangor defence enabled the Lions XII right winger Raihan Rahman to put the ball into Selangor’s penalty box and Shahril calmly stroked it into the net.
The Lions’ joy was short-lived as just before half-time, Gurusamy let loose a spectacular volley from 35 metres to beat a rooted Singapore goalkeeper Izwan.
In Kota Kinabalu, Sabah held Kelantan to a goalless draw at the Likas Stadium.
Kelantan fielding an attacking line-up failed to breach the tight Sabah defence and had to settle for a point.
The result saw the Red Warriors dropping to second place in the standings with 14 points. Perak took over the top spot with 15 points following their 2-1 win over Sarawak at the Perak Stadium in Ipoh last night.
In Kuala Terengganu, the Turtles could only manage a 1-1 draw with PKNS FC at the Sultan Ismail Stadium.
On-form striker Francis Doe broke the deadlock in the 38th minute by calmly collecting Joseph Kalang Tie’s cross to slot the ball home. However, PKNS wasted no time in the second half to draw level through a Rudie Ramli’s glancing header from a cross in the 46th minute.

T-Team lose as Terengganu and Singapore win in Super League
Liberian striker Francis Doe struck twice to end T-Team's unbeaten start in the Super League as derby rivals Terengganu claimed a 2-1 win in Kuala Terengganu yesterday to close within a point of leaders Kelantan.
T-Team, who had not conceded a goal before last night, took the lead through a Zairo Anuar Zailani penalty in the 12th minute after goalkeeper Sharbinee Allawee Ramli brought down Zachariah Simukonda only to concede a penalty within five minutes and have Shahril Faizal Sharifuddin sent off for hauling back Ashaari Samsuddin in the box.
Doe evened the score from the spot before lashing home the winner in the 56th minute to take his personal tally to three goals in two games.
Shahril's sending off was one of five yesterday, interestingly all before half-time, as both LionsXII and Sabah played with 10 men at Likas with Hariss Harun scoring the only goal in a 1-0 win for the visitors.
Hariss headed the winner for LionsXII off Mafry Balang's shoulder in the 20th minute before Mafry and Irwan Shah Arismail were dismissed for having a go at each other 14 minutes later.
Negeri Sembilan's S. Kunanlan and Farid Ramli of Felda United also saw red in Paroi at the stroke of half-time before Shahurain Abu Samah struck in the 57th minute to give Negeri a 1-0 win.
Selangor were held 0-0 by Sarawak in Bukit Jalil with Asraruddin Putra Omar coming closest to breaking the deadlock for the home team when he struck the bar with a 33rd-minute free-kick while Shahrom Kalam's low shot gave Perak a 1-0 win over Johor FC in Pasir Gudang.
Kuala Lumpur earned their first point after Afiq Azmi's 84th minute equaliser cancelled Fauzan Dzulkifli's header 10 minutes earlier for PKNS, parading their new signing Michael Nicoise of Guadeloupe, in a 1-1 draw at the Hang Jebat Stadium in Malacca.

Kelantan coach calm despite being held by PKNS
Peter Butler's changes did not have the desired effect as Super League champions Kelantan stumbled in their home debut in a 1-1 draw with PKNS on Friday.
Indra Putra Mahayuddin and Mohammed Ghadar were relegated to the bench while goalkeeper Khairul Fahmi Che Mat was missing from the squad with a groin injury as his replacement Syazwan Yusof conceded a penalty to allow the visitors to leave Kota Baru with an unlikely point.
Butler refused to blame the 20-year-old Syazwan, who brought down Rudie Ramli in the 80th for Fauzan Dzulkifli to stroke home the penalty and cancel Badhri Radzi's 71st minute effort.
"Fahmi has a groin injury and we had to leave him out but Syazwan did well although he made a mistake. It was a misunderstanding (with the defenders)... worse things have happened to more experienced players.
"We dominated the game for long periods but did not take our chances. With the quick turn-around from Singapore, we looked flat at times and were sloppy. It's a game we should have won," said Butler when contacted by Timesport yesterday.
Butler started with Dennis Antwi and S. Chanturu in place of Ghaddar and Indra and though they carved several chances, the finishing was lacking with PKNS goalkeeper Razi Effendi Suhit rarely troubled.
Kelantan's goal was a result of an error by Razi who flapped at a cross which allowed Badhri to hammer home and the home were indebted to Syazwan, who redeemed himself by saving Helmi Remeli's point-blank header with six minutes remaining.
The point put Kelantan top of the table ahead of yesterday's matches although Butler feels that an away win -- 2-1 against the LionsXII -- and a home draw is not a bad start.
Meanwhile, B. Sathianathan was a far happier man after his star-studded Armed Forces side trounced Johor Baru City Council 5-0 in a Premier League match at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium in Muar with Marlon Alex James on target four times.
James took his season tally to six as Forces put behind them their poor showing in a 2-0 win over Betaria on Monday.
Forces lead on goal difference from Pahang and Sime Darby with all three teams on six points after two games.

PKNS FC given big budget for Super League campaign
PKNS FC have been allocated a whopping RM7 million budget by Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor (PKNS) to spearhead its Super League campaign next year.
PKNS general manager Othman Omar who is also the patron of the club wants PKNS FC to use the ‘big’ allocation wisely in its quest for success.
Speaking to reporters after witnessing PKNS FC players signing their contracts of service for the new season, Othman also urged the team management to source for additional funds from other prospective sponsors.
“To become a renown club we cannot just depend on grants given by PKNS but rather work hard to source for funds from other sponsors to develop football, especially PKNS FC,” he said.
Othman said the success of PKNS FC to win the 2011 Premier League title and gain automatic promotion to the Super League would certainly open the eyes of prospective sponsors to come forward.
He also urged the team management to find ways to attract fans to the stadium by increasing their ticket sales through quality performances.

Newcomer PKNS FC targetting top six place in Super League
This season's Premier League champion PKNS FC, a newcomer to the Super League, targets to be in the top six places in the competition which starts Jan 10.
As Premier League champion, the team qualified for next season's Super League. Its president, Norhisham Mohd Ghouth said the target was realistic.
He said this when introducing the team's players to the media including two imports from France, Micheal Joseph Nicoise and Helmi Loussaief here, today.
The team retained 13 existing players and recruited 12 new faces for next season's Malaysian League including Selangor striker Rudie Ramli.
Coach Abdul Rahman Ibrahim said he would build team compatibility through two friendlies against Singapore's under 23 Lions XII and Sime Darby FC. The first match is Wednesday at the Petaling Jaya City Council Stadium (MBPJ) and the second match on Dec 31 at the Selayang Municipal Council Stadium.
He said the team had, prior to this, played two friendly matches at the pre-season tour against Vietnam's Premier League, FC Saigon.
"We lost the first match 0-1. We won the second match 4-1 and it could be because they were over-confident while our team displayed a strong fighting spirit," he said.
The MBPJ stadium was retained as the main venue of the team for the Malaysia League competition's coming season.
Their first game would be against Johor FC in an away match on Jan 10.
